Maybe you know that there are many icq accounts that are unsearchable via icq search, but actually they do exist. Example 101371 (given to me by a friend from Bahrain "centuries" ago and not used for years, it has q/a set). People here in the forum call these accounts невидимки. People trading/selling uins prefer them because these accounts do not have an email attached and they trade with them thinking that those uins are secure. This precaution is no more needed because now the new icq retrieval makes uins really secure (because ICQ has accepted the AOL way of retrieval- an email sent to the old email allowing the user to cancel the new attachment), though the email domain remains exposed.
So, do you plan to turn all uins into searchable by a simple database fix or you will keep the dual system - searchable and unsearchable uins ?
